Another year is behind us. Like all good things, 2018 came to an end. A lot of people use the beginning of the year as an opportunity for reflection. Last year was especially exciting for us. We changed our website, had an array of blog post topics, and went on some pretty spectacular trips.
Website
Our website celebrated its 2 year anniversary of being live, in December. We thought our website was great back then. It recently underwent a makeover and it looks better than ever.
An events calendar which makes it easy to register for upcoming events was added. Just click on the event, submit a few details, pay, and done!
Let’s not forget the tide chart, easy to access and a handy tool to have a fun day at the beaches. With one simple click and it’s there for you. Don’t know what beach to visit for the day, no worries, we got that for you. Check out the Fun in the Sun category and find your favorite beach in the area.
We also improved our business listings. They are now laid out based off services provided. Looking for a hair dresser? We’ve got a listing for that. Looking for somebody to repair your car? Done!
Businesses now have the option to add pictures and descriptions to their business listing on the website. Are you a business owner? Contact us to see how your listing can be improved.
Blogs
Being part of a community is what we are about at Coronado Concierge Panama. We had over 10 guest blog post last year. Awesome! Blogs consisted of a variety of topics from the Kuna Tribe to animals, including ocelots, to historical pieces, like Nazi Germany’s plot to destroy the Panama Canal, and recipes about arroz con leche; yum. Day Trips and Events
We went to multiple concerts including seeing Sting and Shaggy. We took a ride with the Panama Railway Company from Colón to Panama City, saw a Cirque du Soleil show, and sailed the seas on a catamaran. Did you know we also arrange transportation for private trips? It turns out that Panama is a hotspot for destination bachelor and bachelorette parties. Lastly, we rang in new year with Coronado Fishing Club on a catamaran.

What is next?
Trips for this year will include a day in Casco Viejo and Miraflores Locks. We’ll also be taking a trip to where Abuelo Rum gets made (there will be rum). We’ve got our eyes on a few upcoming concerts as well.
Blog topics are going to include more recipes, volunteer opportunities, and activities to do around the Playa Coronado area. You thought 2018 was fun? Stay tuned. We think 2019 is going to be our best year yet!
