What began as an idea on a beach in 2012 grew into a journey of a lifetime, a move to Panama and a start of our first business, That’s Why Panama/Colibreeze Tees. A cool shirt for everyone, with great designs and a quality that everyone loves.
With all the trials and tribulations that go with moving to a new country and starting a business (without a grasp of the Spanish Language we might add) we launched our company in April 2015 at a little Bar and Restaurant known to everyone in Coronado as Picasso. We actually sold our first t-shirt during a Happy Hour!!

Every year we doubled our wholesale business and grew to having customers in all corners of the Country as well as became merchandisers for several large festival events.
But, the true reason for the company’s success was the Coronado Community. You folks came out to every market and sale to support us and make us part of your family away from home. Those that stepped up to help us get started are too numerous to mention, just know that we felt your kindness and generosity.
As you know, the last years have been tough for businesses, not just here in Panama, but all around the globe. In our case we started looking for alternative opportunities during these unpredictable times and as they say, when one door closes another one opens. Both, Dorothee and I have taken hold of some very positive opportunities and are excited for the future. With that said, we just can’t do it all… and so we have decided to stop the operation of the t-shirt business for the moment. There are options on the table, that involve continuing the business and interesting offers, but for the moment we will have our final sale.
We sure hope to see you all, not just for our SUPER SALE, but for our ongoing events and new tours. And of course, at Happy Hours, social events, and everything that this amazing community has to offer.
