Meet the Team

There are so many reasons to come to Panamá, especially Coronado, you just have to experience it for yourself.  We did, and it started us in a direction for a new business idea.  Let’s make some awesome designs and have them on a high quality shirt for visitors to take their memories home with them.

As always, vacation was over way too soon, so we went back home to Illinois and started to plan and create.  After months of turning an idea into reality, we were finally ready to move.  Leaving our previous jobs and saying goodbye to family and friends wasn’t as easy as we thought, but we were ready for a new challenge.

When we arrived in Coronado, we quickly realized we needed help.  Finding the right places, contacts and knowing the ins and outs kept us very busy.  We made many mistakes, paid too much for certain services, waited forever for that desperately needed plumber to show up and got “Gringoed” a few times, even by Gringos.

This alone motivated us to create this website.  It is a single location tool for everyone to find their way around, as well as to provide recommendations on who to call and what to do.  Our background in managing hotels and years of traveling for business provided experience to rely on the knowledge of the locals and people on the ground.  They knew where to get the best steak in town, who could fix the broken windshield wiper and where to find a church service nearby.

We want you to have the same, a reliable source from people on the ground, that you can ask for recommendations for anything you might need.  Coronado Concierge was created with a lot of help from the Coronado community.  Many volunteers dedicated hours of research, provided feedback, voted on services and gave insider tips for us to publish.  We can’t thank everybody enough for the support and love we have received over the past year! That’s Why we LOVE it here!
