Rincón Catracho

Located on Calle 2 y Ave. A., Nueva Gorgona (across from La Ruina).

Often referred to as “Mama’s”, this is a Panamanian family run restaurant that serves traditional as well as Panamanian-style meals.  Menu is written on chalkboard outside with eight tables situated under large ceiling fans (on Mama’s carport) and surrounded by garden.   Meals made to order by Mama.  Relaxed, casual and friendly environment.

Seafood (fresh fish from Gorgona fishing village), American and Italian (what Mama decides to prepare each day).  Beer and wine also served.

Open Wednesday for dinner only, Thursday and Friday lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday breakfast, lunch and dinner (may change in low season)
